Duff here. On February 2nd, Punxsutawney Phil saw His Shadow. Yikes! Six more weeks of winter. I had the Pleasure of sharing in the Prediction Afterglow with this Famous Rodent. Yes, there was snow on the ground. But it did not stop this Intrepid Weatherman. There He was, photographed with the Rich and Famous. I mean really . . . Who else has a Keeper in a Tuxedo? Mom picks Me up too, but She is not in Fancy Attire as This Man is. Guess Phil is truly living unstuck.

Phil was underground when We Chatted. Three reasons: One is He lives there. (And quite a Cozy Place He has.) The second? It’s warmer. Very important consideration during winter. And last? His news was not welcomed. A Heavy snowstorm was rolling through His Stomping Ground. Not happy times for the People above ground. But Phil claims His Friends pick up the Slack. There’s Pierre C. Shadeaux of Louisiana. General Beauregard Lee of Georgia. Staten Island Bill from New York. The Fellow with the best accuracy rating? Unadilla Bill from Nebraska. Ta dah! But no one is pampered like Phil. He’s living unstuck.
