Safe and Loved
Words may be false and filled of art; sighs are the natural language of the heart.
—Thomas Shadwell
Lil’ Toot here. When Mom and I first met, I was tiny. Not much bigger now, but still . . . Then, I was busy growing. Mom felt My Tummy to experience what Full was for Me. Unbelievably small. There was also getting into Mischief. Mostly My stealthy Tearing of Paper of any kind. Teaching Mom to play Fetch, My way. What a job! Living unstuck.
She knew She had succeeded as a Doggy Mommy when This Big Thing happened. I was curled up next to Her on the Sofa. Out of nowhere, I sighed and stretched out My Front Paws. And Mom was thrilled. She called the Lady who was My First Mom the very next day with her News. Turns out I felt safe . . . and loved. Living unstuck.
I’m curious: Do You sigh when you’re happy and content? Or keep Your feelings inside? I say: Express Yourself. Let the World know how Safe and Loved You feel. Those feelings will come back multiplied many Times over. That’s living unstuck. #unstuck-living#safe-loved
