Adjusting My Sails

The pessimist complains about the wind; the optimist expects it to change; the realist adjusts the sails.

—George Jung

Duff here. For the last few days, the Wind has been blowing. Howling. The Trees were almost Bending over. The Shrub's leaves were shredded. But I had to do My Morning walk, so Mom and I headed out. My Ears were streaming straight behind Me. It’s amazing My Tail even stayed attached. I hunkered down. Then Hunkered down some more, just to be sure I wouldn’t be bowled over. When Mom checked on Me during Our final leg of the journey, I was practically crawling. But I made It! Living unstuck.

I have figured out It was all about Adjusting My Sails. I am an Eternal Optimist. I know Life will change and everything will work out For The Best. I will get Treats. (I did this last week!) Mom will play with Me. (She does every Night after Work.) I get a Warm Bath on a regular basis. (Yes!) And this Wind was no different. Mom and I played in The Gale. It made no Never Mind to Us. Living unstuck.

How about You? Do You find Yourself buffeted by the Winds at times? Or is Your Life as calm as a still pond? I say: Be prepared. Sometimes You have to weather the Storm, and it helps to be able to make It through those Tough Times. I’m with You. I’ve got Your back. Living unstuck. #unstuck-living#fortitude
