Missing My Sunday Bath

Duff here. As You know, Sunday Bath Time is a treasured ritual for Me. I want to smell good for My Clients. Around 11:00 am or later, I meander over to the bath Tub. Mom gathers the necessaries for My Bath (towels, cotton balls as Ear Plugs, scented Soaps.) We are ready. And it’s one way Mom lets Me know She Loves me. Singing softly as She soaps Me up and rinses Me off, toweling Me dry. Living unstuck.

But last week? I went to the bath Tub. And waited. Mom was not paying attention, so I went back to My Living Room Bed. Then 15 minutes later? Back to the Bath Tub. And waited. She finally noticed and Picked Me up, and explained I had been groomed two days before. That if I had a Regular Bath? My skin and Fur would be very Dry. Not comfortable at all.

All I heard was “blah, blah, blah.” And I thought She didn’t love Me anymore. We always do My Sunday bath. Always. With My Head down, I went back to My Bed. Mournful eyes. Tail dragging. I was pathetic. Thank goodness We made up for it the Following week. Yay me! Living unstuck.

How about You? Are You sad when a Special Fun Routine is interrupted? Or do You roll with the punches? I say: Don’t give Up. Focus on the Good Times. Life will get better. You can do it! I did. Live unstuck. #unstuck-living#Sunday-bath
