A Revised Birthday Plan

Duff here. Recently, Mom read a promotion from Our car Insurance Company. In light of the Shut Down, this Group was sending Us a rebate! They wanted to do Their Part to help in any way They could. Since My birthday is next month, Mom started to plan a Celebration with this Windfall. We dreamed of perhaps $100 coming Our way. Then realized that was asking too much, and thought We could do nicely with around $50. Mom promised Me a steak. I could smell it already! Living unstuck.

The COVID-19 Personal Auto Payback arrived last week. As We eagerly tore open the envelope, Mom started to laugh. Then laughed harder, until She was in tears. There it was, Our Windfall of $12.03. I agreed that Hamburger was fine. Mom will opt for Ramen when We party. All part of living unstuck.

How about You? Have You expected Something Special, only to be Sadly surprised? Or do You take life in stride? I say: Lift up Your Spirits. Have a Hamburger with Me. Such fun! And it’s all part of the Birthday Bash of living unstuck. #unstuck-living#birthday-surprise

Without leaps of imagination or dreaming, we lose the excitement of possibilities. Dreaming, after all, is a form of planning.
