The Absent Goodbye

Duff here. Over last Weekend, Mom was clearing out Her Storage unit. This seems to be an unending task to both of Us. To top it all off, There is No Room on the passenger seat for Me by the time She’s done for the day. So I get totally bored when This happens. I want to play. And romp. And jump about. After all, It’s springtime. So off to Doggy Day Camp I go. I get to live unstuck.

Usually, it’s a challenge for Me to leave Mom. I turn around a couple of times to be sure She’s still there. And also coming back. This time? I couldn’t wait to visit My Buddies. I stood impatiently at the Gate. When nothing happened, I hopped up the steps of the Office to greet Debbie and remind Her I was there. She came, and off I went like a shot. Never even Looked back at Mom. Not even once. Kind of like a Kid going to Summer Camp. Confident and secure. Living unstuck.

How about You? Do You say goodbye when You leave a Friend? Or just mosey on down the Road? I say: Turn and wave. Or tell Them You look forward to the Next Time. That is, unless You’re a Pup and its Springtime. When that happens? All bets are off. Living unstuck. #unstuck-living#springtime

It is spring again. The earth is like a child that knows poems by heart.
