Ready for a Change

Duff here. Every night, Mom tucks Me into My Carrier where I can be safe from the World. When there are Thunderstorms or just when the World seems a bit Wonky? It’s the perfect place to be. She gently places Me inside, murmuring Sweet Nothings. “You’re a good boy, Duff.” “Sweet dreams.” Even, “I hope You catch the Squirrel this Time.” She knows what’s important to Me. Living unstuck.

Last night, I got Itchy Feet and decided I wanted a Change. To be in a Different Locale, on My Comfy Bed in the Living Room. Squishy. Soft. Inviting. So I watched as She latched the Door, letting Her have the Illusion She had done so securely. But that was Not the Case. After I heard Her steady breathing (dare I say Snuffle-Snore?) I stealthily slipped out and plopped Onto My Other Bed. It was heaven! When Mom woke up to roust Me out in the Morning, She looked in the Carrier. And Her heart stopped as She saw it empty. I smiled My Doggy Smile at Her as She found Me on My Lounging Bed. Success! Living unstuck.

How about You? Have You ever had a Habit and then got Bored? Or are you Content doing the Same Thing every day? I say: Listen to Your Inner Self. If You want a change, go for It. Well, within reason, of course. You won’t regret it! Living unstuck. #unstuck-living#change
