On a Crusade

My dog’s superpower is spotting a discarded French fry from three blocks away.

Lil’ Toot here. Every day, Mom takes Me out to follow My Campaign to track down Discarded Treats. I discover What’s Left by others. After all, it only seems right to Clean Up. This morning? We headed out, and I was in hot pursuit. About a half mile away, I zipped into a Ditch. Pulling Mom as I went. I rediscovered the Chicken Bone She wrestled from Me the Day before! I was jubilant. Jumping about with Joy. Living unstuck.

Mom is quick, I’ll have to give Her that. At the speed of Light, She caught Me and opened My Jaws. (Note: the command, “Drop it!” doesn’t apply here.) This time She tucked the Offending Bone into my poop bag. Euwww. She has no Sense of Adventure. On to the next Munchie. That’s living unstuck.

I’m curious: I love that Mom has Treats She’s ignored in Her purse. Do You have some too? Perhaps in Your Pocket? Or do You immediately toss Them? I say: Let Them stick around for a while. Age a bit. Your Pooch may revel in that dried-up piece of Steak, intended for Them but forgotten. Yum! Living unstuck. #unstuck-living#crusade-time
