Courageous Illusions

If one is lucky a solitary fantasy can totally transform one million realities.

—Maya Angelou

Duff here. Uncle Ralph had a Little Buddy, Socks. They were inseparable, sharing Adventures and Exploring the vast Territory of the Back Yard. After all, Socks had very Short Legs and could not keep up with Ralph on those longer Rambles. During those extended walks, The Tiny Kitty would contentedly curl up and Sleep, Waiting for His Best Friend to return. Living unstuck.

My Uncle had an immense Amount of Patience with A Particular Fantasy of His Little Companion. Socks had this Illusion He was superior to Dogs, and would endlessly Explain this fact to the Larger Canine. Ralph was amused and enjoyed Socks’ courage. My Uncle did not doubt the Feline’s Ability. He also knew if He grew tired of the Game? He could pin Socks down with His oversized Paw in a Heartbeat. Such is the beauty of Friendship and fantasy. Living unstuck.

How about You? Do You have an Illusion of Grandeur? Or are You aware of Who You are? I say: Indulge those Fantasies every now and Again. It’ll do You good. Living unstuck. #unstuck-living#courage
