Bone-Chilling Cold

Lil’ Toot here. Every morning, Mom checks the Weather to see how warm or Cold it is outside. Lately, She looks on Her phone and says to Herself, “That’s good enough.” Or “We won’t be out long.” And off We go. But It has been downright Cold. Frigid. Sheesh, Mom. Living unstuck.

This morning, after I took care of Business, I balked. But have I told You how determined Mom is? After a few Steps, She scooped Me up and tucked Me in Her Warm Jacket. But after a bit, I decided It was time to explore and flailed about. She let Me down. That’s when the Fun Began. She did a Jig or a Clogging step while I checked Things out. When Her Patience ran out, I was again up in the Air. Home one more time. Living unstuck.
