The Tornado Warning
Duff here. The other Day, My Town had a Tornado warning. I live in the high Desert of Arizona, so this was quite Unusual. My clue as to what was Happening? While at work, Mom’s cell phone gave off a Loud Screeching Noise. Once, twice, three times. I moved closer to Mom, for She’s My Haven at Times like these. She acted as if Nothing had happened, so I settled Down. Living unstuck.
Then, it happened again. This time? I jumped into Mom’s lap, which is the Safest place in My World. It rained. It Hailed. The wind howled. But I was Secure with Her. Another friend said She gathered up Her Pup, and headed for the Bathtub. A truly secure place also. But there was Nothing like that in the Office, so Mom’s lap would have to do. And It did. Living unstuck.
How about You? Where’s Your safe spot during a Crisis? Or do You weather the storm by Yourself? I say: Huddle in and hunker down. And Nothing like some Company at a time of potential Catastrophe to bring comfort. I have found that to be True. Living unstuck. #unstuck-living#friends
Friendship is a tree to take shelter from the storm, to find shade from the blazing sun, to climb its branches to get a better view, and to swing from when we’re happy.
