Mom and Mosquitos
Duff here. It’s Monsoon season. Time for heavy Rainfall, blowing winds, and Puddles galore. Mosquitoes love standing Water, especially ponds and plashes. That leads me to the Story of Mom and The Mosquitoes. When We get home from work, Mom feeds Me a Yummy meal. Then out We go for Our Evening Saunter. Living unstuck.
Well, usually its unstuck. But right now, Mom draws Mosquitoes like Honey does Flies. We step outside, and They immediately gravitate to Her. She is convinced They are in a Dive Bomb Formation, straight to her Body. She flails mightily, but They persevere. And I have watched Her get many Bites. On Her Neck. Her arms. Her back. Even through Jeans. I tell You, These are powerful critters. She has tried many Remedies: Deet, more Vitamin B, Bounce dryer sheets, vinegar. Nothing works. She has now resorted to wearing her Hoodie. (Looks pretty snazzy, if You ask Me.) Living unstuck.
How about You? Issues with mosquitoes? Or do They leave You alone? I say: If You have suggestions, send Them Mom’s way. I personally don’t have issues with These Little Ones. They just sit on the Top of My Fur, going along for the Ride. Living unstuck. #unstuck-living#mosquitoes
If you think you’re too small to make a difference, try sleeping with a mosquito.
