Walking the Dog
Allow your dog to take you for a walk every day.
It’s good for the body and good for the soul.—Eckhart Tolle
Duff here. Often, I take Mom for a Walk. She can get Overly involved with projects. Or computers. Or Football Games. (Yup, it’s that time of the Year again.) I stand in the Doorway, and begin My Soft Whimper. If that’s not Noticed? I move up to the Stronger Whine. If that doesn’t do it? I’m on to the Full Fledged Bark. For a Small Canine, I have a Very Big Bark. The Sound and Gale force of It is Earth Shattering. Living unstuck for Me.
Once outside, She’s all Mine. We meander here. We walk there. We veer Off Course. You never know where the Scents of the Moment will take Me. I love This time of year, when the Summer Aromas begin to dissipate and the Fall Fragrances start to creep in. The cooler Mornings bring Joy, for I can slow down and truly revel in the Whiff of a passing Canine. Or an Interesting Whatever I have never Encountered before. All this Takes Time. Mom is patient to a Point. If it’s Time to leave? She gathers Me up, and off We go. Living unstuck.
How about You? Does Your Dog take You for a Walk? Or do You direct the Course? I say: Meander with Your Pooch. You’ll learn a Lot, and have Much more Fun. All part of living unstuck. #unstuck-living#walking-the-dog
