Duff here. Cousin Matilda was in a Snit. She had been the Number One Pet of the Household. Being loved was Her forte. Her Master praised Her to high Heaven, making sure everyone who heard knew how Fine a Canine She was. She was taught many Tricks. Bringing slippers was only one of them. Living unstuck.

Until . . . The Cat entered the Household. Immediately, this Feline was Matilda’s nemesis. He was coddled and waited On. Fed fine delicacies. (Never mind that Matilda didn’t even like sardines.) And He didn’t have to attend to His Business out in the Rain or Snow. Not right. However, Matilda got the Last Laugh. She was best in Show at the Local Dog Competition. So there! Living unstuck.
