The Elusive Meteor Adventure

Duff here. Last week, Mom read about the Perseid Meteor Showers. The online photos of these Streaks of Light were amazing. What an Adventure! The Catch? The Comets showed up in the wee Hours of the Morning. But We were game. Living unstuck.

Mom woke at 2:00 am and rousted Me out. As We journeyed into the Night, I commented, “It’s dark.” She agreed. Then I said, “I don’t see anything.” She suggested We wait and see. Since Mom was doing the Waiting, I hopped into Her lap and went to sleep. After a half hour or so, for whatever Reason, there were no Meteors in sight. When asked if I wanted to go back inside, I said, “Yes, please.” (My Bed is much softer than Her Lap.) And so We did. But having an Adventure together? Priceless! Still living unstuck.
