The Day After Christmas
Lil’ Toot here. Christmas Day has come and gone. Some are sad to see it Leave. The big Excitement of this Time has passed. Others are delighted It moved through, like a Strong Storm leaving a trail of Happiness in its wake. (Myself, I prefer Thanksgiving, with all the Goodies and Treats. But that’s Me.) Living unstuck.
Mom likes to revel in this Holiday. But She leaves the mess — the Wrapping paper, ribbons and Gifts tags — strewn about for a While. It’s Fun for Her to remember the Person who gave each Gift, and those treasured Memories. I like to romp about in the Papers and ribbons. I pretend to be a Tough Puppy, and tear into paper to rip It to shreds. And when I do? I entertain Mom to no End. (Then, She gets to clean up. Tail wags.) That’s living unstuck.
I wonder: Glad the Season is over? Or do You miss It a Little? I say: Keep a bit of Christmas joy in Your heart all year long. It’s like having Pixie Dust; You can sprinkle it wherever You go. Living unstuck. #unstuck-living#Christmas-passed
One of the most glorious messes in the world is the mess created in the living room on Christmas day. Don’t clean it up too quickly.
