Tangled Ties

Don’t be discouraged. It’s often the last key in the bunch that opens the lock.

Duff here. Mom got industrious the other Day and decided to sew Up some Masks. After all, so Many others were creating these Face Coverings. Why not? Some used Bandanas. Others had Fancy Doo Dads on Theirs. Still others were very Elaborately folded and pressed. I mean, how hard Could It be, right? After all, We live unstuck.

After 5 hours of stitching Prototypes (yup, We got up to 5,) She succeeded! We both Celebrated Mightily. Then, Mom decided She wanted to make More. Hmmm. And so She did, getting Better and More proficient with each One. But Without thinking this Through, these Precious Covers were tossed into the Washing Machine. Churning and turning, up and down They went. The Result? Those Ties were so tangled! It took a Good Long While to get Them straightened out. But My Mom is nothing but tenacious. (And I am Grateful that Challenge is Behind us. I’m ready for Another Adventure.) Living unstuck.

How about You? Have You finished a Project, only to have a Snarl of Stuff come up afterwards? Or Does everything go Oh-so-Smoothly in Your Life? I say: Take Life On. Give it a Shot. You can always untangle The Problems later. (I won’t mention the first Attempt at Mask Stitching. A true disaster, that went into the Trash with a naughty Word or two. I hid under the bed.) Living unstuck. #unstuck-living#tangled-projects
