Simple Pleasures. Wonderful Memories.

Life brings simple pleasures every day. It’s up to us to make them wonderful memories.

—Bill Bryson

Duff here. Simple pleasures are a Delight. Mine begin when I wake, for I am grateful to see Another Sunrise. I love the part of my Morning Routine where I stretch and rub My Muzzle in a Soft Rug. I have used This Device for many years, and It is showing some Wear. Ragged tufts where I have Dug In to Rumple it to Be the exact Way I want. A great Deal of Movement to get things just right. I can then lay My head on the Upraised Spot and rest comfortably. What a wonderful memory. Sigh. Living unstuck.

Another Memory of a simple Pleasure is Any Ride in the Car. I love to see the Landscape zip by, Content with My View of the World. Even better if I discover another Canine in the Car Next to Me at a stop Light. Sometimes I bark a Greeting, but She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed doesn’t support that Activity. Often, it’s a Furious Tail Wag and a Bounce Up and Down. Great memories of doing That throughout the years. Living unstuck.

How about You? Do You savor the simple pleasures, making Them into memories? Or do You go through life with Blinders on? I say: Open the Door to the World and let those Special experiences in. You’ll be grateful You did. I know That for a fact. #unstuck-living#simple-pleasures-wonderful-memories
