Pick a Dream

That whisper in your ear has strength. It may not have wings, but it has the power to fly.

—Old saying from Pakistan

Duff here. I have been using this Quieter Time during COVID to reflect on My Dreams. When I was Younger, these Whispered Aspirations would be simple. Getting up the Stairs. Learning to alert Mom when I needed to go outside. Getting inside the Kitchen. Securing the potential Treat. Living unstuck.

As I have Aged, My Imagined Dreams changed. When can I get a Nap? How can I help Mom, the other Half of My Team? What Friends will I meet at Doggy Day Camp? And yes, will I ever catch that Elusive Rascal, the Squirrel? (There are times I feel like Wiley E. Coyote in the Roadrunner series. The script: almost, but not quite.) But the whispered hope is still there. Living unstuck.

How about You? Have You taken time to Ponder Your Dreams lately? Or do You drift through Life, taking it as It comes? I say: Pick and choose. While It’s fun at to go with the flow, I get restless when doing So. Pick a Dream, be it old or New, and Play with it. You’ll be delighted with What comes next. Living unstuck. #unstuck-living#dreams
