Guilt Induction
Lil’ Toot here. Last Thanksgiving, My Cousins gathered around the Table to bless Their Table Scraps. They were grateful for what They received but were always open for More. Better results came when They showed Respect by being under the Table when Their Mistress arrived. It’s a strategy We can all relate to for More scraps! Living unstuck.
I take a different Approach. I’ve found the Pleading Look works just fine. Even at My young Age, I’ve got that Pitiful Gaze down Pat. I could stop a Stone-hearted Chef in His Tracks. Or make Mom stand at the Sink to eat Her Crackers. I have the Touch. Living unstuck.
I wonder: Are You good at Guilt Induction? Or do You let Things be? I say: Perfect this Skill. You never know when You’ll need It. Comes in handy, You know. There’s also the Direct Approach. One year, Uncle Vinnie licked the Pineapple and Brown Sugar off the Ham set out on the Table for Easter dinner. But that’s a story for another Day. Living unstuck. #unstuck-living#table-scraps-and guilt
