Encouragement: Buying Stuff From Kids
Buy whatever kids are selling on card tables in their front yards.
—H. Jackson Brown, Jr.
Duff here. Mom is big on Buying stuff from Kids, especially During those Hot Summer Months. As We tool down the road, She will spot a couple of Children, sitting at a table with any Sort of Item on it. Once it was Toys they had Outgrown. These Youngsters wanted to share what They had with others. (I, Myself, don’t tend to Share a Toy with Another Canine. Nope. A human, perhaps, for That may end in a Pat on the head.) Mom carefully Slowed Down and Stopped. Greeting the kids, She gave then some green Paper Stuff and Completed the Transaction. The playthings were then Donated, so They could find Other Owners. Living unstuck.
Another time, We came across some Little People selling cups of Lemonade. It was hot. They were out By the Street. There was no Shade. Looking at them, I could tell They weren’t having any fun. This time, Mom took Me with Her to make their acquaintance. I Played with them, romping about in My imitable Doggy style. Mom then purchased A Large Cup of Lemonade. The kids were ecstatic! Even more so when She overpaid Them. (She probably didn’t have any Change on Her.) Now that’s living unstuck.
How about You? Do You slow down and Stop for Kids selling things? Doesn’t matter what that Thing is, Your gesture is Priceless. I say: You can’t afford Not to. Helps lift Their spirits and Bring happiness to The Day for All Concerned. Live unstuck. #unstuckliving#encouragement
