A Variety of Choices

Did you ever notice that when you blow in a dog’s face, they get mad at you? But when you take him in a car, he sticks his head out the window?

—Steve Bluestone

Duff here. Now, Mom has not yet tried to Blow in My Face. But if She did? I think there would be War. I wonder how She would feel if I blew in Her Face? There are times when I have Doggy Breath, and She makes a Funny Expression when I breathe in Her direction. Sometimes I do This just for Kicks and Giggles, and Smile as She shakes Her Head. I have immaculately clean Teeth now, so the odor is usually What I have eaten recently. Yum! Living unstuck.

I love to have My head out the Window when the Car is parked. Or We’re at a stop sign. I breathe in deeply, letting My Nose work overtime to Take in all the Scents. Sometimes, I follow a Scent from the front of the Window to the Back. Just getting all the Nuances, You know. The minute We start to move? I tuck My head down inside, protecting My Nose and Other parts. I can never be too careful. Mom carefully rolls the Window up, and I begin making Doggy Doinks on the window. Living unstuck.

How about You? Do You like to stick Your head out of the window when Someone drives? Or do You carefully remain inside? I say: Inside is Not a Bad Place to be. I prefer Security, for it Allows Me to return another Day. But there are times . . . Living unstuck. #unstuck-living#variety-of-choices
