Drenching Rain

It’s raining cats and dogs.
—Jonathan Swift

Lil’ Toot here. I want You to imagine My problem. It’s pouring outside. As a Matter of fact, the Rain began yesterday. Hasn’t stopped yet. Some of Our Friends have Ponds and Lakes where Their yards used to be. Oh dear! Not living unstuck.

The first jaunt in the morning: I took an hour to find the perfect Spot. Yup. Sixty minutes. I was drenched. My jacket? Sopping wet. Mom’s boots were waterlogged, so every step sounded like a wet sponge giving a high-five. I kept looking for Where the Noise came from. No luck. Mom pulled the Wet stuff back on Us the next Jaunt. We persevered. Living unstuck.

This is where I get curious: Mom said it was raining Cats and Dogs. And I looked for Them. But the only ones I found were My Soaking-Wet Buddies, looking as Miserable as I felt. You too? Hope You’re safe and secure. Also dried off. Living unstuck. #unstuck-living#drenching-rain
