That Afternoon Siesta
Duff here. I don’t know about You, but My Day has a Rhythm to It. I roll out Early, Ready to take on What comes My Way. Lately, it’s been the Puppy from Upstairs who’s ready to Play. Then, off to Work to meet My Clients. I tell You, it’s a Tough Job. I notice Who needs Me the Most, and promptly sit on Their Foot. I funnel My Happy Healing Energy to Them, You know. Living unstuck.
After a snackerel for Lunch, it’s Time for a Nap. I think You’d agree there’s nothing quite like an Afternoon Siesta. I tire of the office Surroundings. And We have such beautiful fall Days now . . . I have elected to spend that time on the Passenger Side of the Jeep. It’s sunny there. Comfy and cozy. Snuggy warm. Ah, the luxury. Mom didn’t understand at first. But I stamped My Paws. Put My Feet down so I skidded when She tried to Pull Me along. She got the Message. And I get My nap. Living unstuck.
How about You? Do You enjoy a Wee Siesta after Lunch? Or do You just charge ahead? I say: Strongly consider Resting after that meal. 15 or 20 minutes will do Your Outlook on Life a World of Good. I’ll be there next to You, curled up and Snoozing. Living unstuck. #unstuck-living#siestas
Let’s start by taking a smallish nap or two.
