Camouflaged
Wrinkles should merely indicate where the smiles have been.
—Mark Twain
Duff here. I watch Mom as She checks Herself out in the Mirror in the Morning. It’s usually a quick glance as She puts on Her Makeup, for time is Short. She then tells herself: I love You. (Just like She tells Me . . . Often.) But There are Times when She takes a Closer look. And laughs as She steps out of the Bathroom, on to other Projects. I think She has found if She doesn’t take Herself too seriously, She is a Happier Camper. I’m all for that! Living unstuck.
As for Me, I am so Very Furry . . . You could never guess My Age. My Wrinkles and Bumps are well camouflaged. Isn’t that a Clever Tactic? Since I am a Bichy-Poo-Shi-Tzu, I have a lot of Fur in My Heritage. Great Uncle Harry, A Bichon Friese, had an Abundance of hair, and He passed that Trait on to Me. Phoebe, My Poodle-Grandma, had luxurious Warm Brown Wavy Hair. And as You know, Shi Tzus are notorious for Their long Soft Locks. A Terrific way to conceal any Imperfections. For I think I’m perfect just the Way I am. Living unstuck.
How about You? Are You fussing over the Years flying by? Or do You take it in Stride, and perhaps even with a Sense of Humor? I say: Giggle a bit. Laugh a lot. Mom and I both know if You do that? The Wrinkles fall out! Living unstuck. #unstuck-living#camouflaged
