Small Comforts

Lil’ Toot here. Comfort comes in Countless sizes. Different packages. A chat with a friend. A Cup of tea after a long day. Or a warm Blanket. All will qualify with That ability to soothe in some way. That’s living unstuck.

Auntie Edwina specialized in Creature Comforts. She’s like Me, for We both feel we’re entitled to be Lap Dogs. There’s nothing I like better than Curling up on Mom’s lap with a Deep sigh. My Auntie took it one step further. Both She and Her Mistress were spooked on the latest flight. Up Edwina went and snuggled in. A comfort to Them Both. Living unstuck.

I wonder: Do You have Small comforts to soothe Your Fears? Or do You brave the World as You are? I say: Seek out that Special Little Thing. Merely taking My Halter off at Day’s End works for Me.
