Happy Father’s Day
“It is impossible,” said Pride.
“It is risky,” said Experience.
“It is pointless,” said Reason.
“Give it a try,” whispered the Heart.”—William Arthur Ward
Duff here. The other day, I was thinking about Mr. Murphy, My Birth Father. Did You know He was only six months old when He fathered Me? He was one motivated Dog, that One. He was cute, just like Me. The first time Mom met Him, He bounded out of the kitchen, across side Tables and Sofas, and finally landed in Her Arms. What a Warm Welcome! He was living unstuck.
My Doggy Daddy only had two legs, but made up for It with His Big Heart. He taught Me what I needed to know to be an excellent Canine. One of Mom’s treasured memories was Me snuggling up next to Him in His Big Chair, both of Us sound asleep. (One of the few times I was Still as a Puppy.) A Precious Visual, for sure. Living unstuck.
How about You? Do you have special Memories of Your Father? Or is it a Blur? I say: Celebrate those Fellows. They gave it a try with all Their Might. After all, no Book of Instructions comes with a Puppy (or a Tiny Baby.) Courage indeed! Happy Father’s Day. Living unstuck. #unstuck-living#happy-father’s-day
