An Extended Nap
Duff here. I get fussed over every Morning. Mom cleans My Paws. The puts a bit of Bag Balm on Them to keep Them soft. It also helps to shed Snow and Ice in the Winter. None on the Horizon yet, but She keeps Me in shape. After that, She brushes My Tail and ears. Wipes the Sleepers from My Eyes. And then? I’m ready to go! It’s like I’m shot out of a Cannon. Living unstuck.
But this Morning? We went through the Routine. And I was so Comfy and Cozy, I snuggled in for a Little longer. Actually, I was flipped over on My Back. Doing Mom’s relaxation Thing of breathing in. And Breathing out. Slowly. Gently. Every now and again, I would let out a Little Yip. And then kick My Paws. That Squirrel is so elusive! But I’m hot on the Trail. I am persistent, never giving up. Living unstuck.
How about You? Do You shoot up out of Bed after a Little Nap? Or are there days when You snuggle in and relax a bit longer? I say: It’s okay once in a while. But Neither You nor I will make a habit of It. No time for Laziness on Our Watch. But Some gentle Relaxation? For sure! Living unstuck. #unstuck-living#naps
A nap is a sort of easy version of meditation.
