Hanukkah Is Here!
A candle is a small thing. But one candle can light another . . .
You are such a light.—Moshe David
Duff here. Do You have Good Friends who are Jewish? Mom and I sure do! Over the years, We have enjoyed celebrating Hanukkah with Them. Talk about Yummy Foods! The Potato latkes. Brisket. Matzo ball Soup. The special Cookies. Mom even brought little Tastes home for Me! (She loves Me.) All this to Celebrate the miracle of a Light that was to barely Last one night, but Stretched into an amazing 8 days! That’s living Unstuck.
What to bring to such an Occasion, You ask? Best bets are gifts of Chocolate. Gourmet applesauce. Candle and books. As You remember, spinning the dreidel, a four sided top, is Definitely part of the Fun. Once again, Mom practices . . . but fails every time. Sigh. There’s always next year! Living unstuck.
Do You have Friends who are Jewish? I say: Help Them revere the Occasion and wish Them A happy Hanukkah. They will appreciate Your Thoughtfulness and may even Share the History of that Time with You. My Friends did with Mom and Me, and We have long Treasured it. Happy Hanukkah! #unstuckliving#happyhanukkah
