The Adventurous Escape
Duff here. It’s getting warmer in these Parts, and You know what That means. When Mom goes out for a Prolonged Errand or Chore, the Jeep gets too hot for Me. The Duff gets to stay home and Man the Home Fort, Whatever that means. The other day. Mom was bringing the Second Load of groceries into Our Home when I darted out the Door. She thought to herself, “No big deal. He won’t go far” and placed Our Edibles in the Kitchen. Living unstuck.
She came back Outside to find Me. She called. She bribed. She used My Full Name, to no avail. Not downstairs. Not in the back Field. She was getting uneasy, but happened to glance over to the Street. There I was! Of course, I smiled at Her and gave Her the Paw, continuing My Ramble. As She ran toward Me, all She could See was My Fluffy White Tail bobbing along. She finally scooped Me up, as I turned to Her and said, ‘I knew You’d find Me.” Talk about living unstuck.
How about You? Have You gone out Adventuring without letting Others know where You’re headed? Or do You leave a Note? I say: Leave the Note. When I first got miffed about being left Behind and took off, all was well and Good. Then I got a little worried and was grateful to be Found. Something to consider . . . Living unstuck. #unstuck-living#adventures
Blessed are the curious, for they shall have adventures.
