Laughter and Good Humor
There is nothing in the world more irresistibly contagious as laughter and good humor.
—Charles Dickens
Duff here. Aunt Martha and Cousin Waldo were quite a pair. Martha was Bright-eyed and Bushy-tailed. You know, the Happy sort of Dog You love to have around. She had a Mischievous Twinkle, which generally cascaded into a Giggle, or an Outright Guffaw, for Those around Her. She always had Something witty to say. What a joy! Living unstuck.
Much like George Burns of comedy fame, Cousin Waldo was Her Straight Man. He was impeccable with His Timing. Always having Something Dry to say after She delivered Her Punch Lines. These Two were in High Demand, often going to parties and Galas. They were festive Affairs, I tell You. At times? His deadpan Look made for additional Levity in the Delivery. Truly living unstuck.
How about You? Do You like to deliver Jokes? Or are You the Straight Man? I say: If Your personality is More outgoing, tell that Funny story. But if Your Face can hold an Inscrutable Look, You’re a shoo-in for the Other Role. Mom could never successfully be the Straight Man (or play Poker.) You can read her Face too easily. Well, at least I can. Living unstuck. #unstuck-living#comedy-deliveries
