The Infamous Twirl

Duff here. As Mom goes for Her own Personal Walk in the morning, She passes by a Yard filled with Four Dogs. Two are Great Pyrenees (one is named Jack Sparrow, after the Captain in Pirates of the Caribbean. Oh my!) There is one other smaller Dog. And then there’s the Mini Lassie, so named by Mom and other Walkers who stop to admire Her. She is quite fluffy and has a Hoarse “Huff” type of Bark. Mom stops to chat for a moment (I think it’s really to catch Her breath,) and ask how Her day was. Did She sleep well? When Mom talks to Her, She does the Twirl. Quickly and efficiently. Staying in conversation. Living unstuck.

I was the One who taught Mom to appreciate the Twirl. She will ask, “Time to go walk-a, walk-a?” and I quickly Spin. When I meet My Client in the Office? I rotate. When I get My Living Room Bed fluffed up and prepared for Sleep, I pivot. And She applauds. She is most appreciative of all My Efforts. And just like Mini Lassie, I go out of My Way to do Even More. Living unstuck.

How about You? Do You do Delightful Antics for Your Special Someone? Or are You just Your Normal Self? I say: Jazz it up every Now and Again. A Smooch or two when You get home. A hug. A Laugh. The words “thank you” and “you’re welcome” also go far. It keeps a Person out of the Dog House, for sure. Living unstuck. #unstuck-living#the-twirl

No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.
