Halloween Frights
Duff here. Last night was Halloween. This Holiday has been celebrated for over a week, so I think it’s a Big Deal. My little Friends can hardly contain Themselves. I get into the Festive mood too, romping and Playing. Once Mom put a Big Bow on My collar, in honor of The Day. I kept seeing it from the Corner of My Eye, and snapped and tried to bite at it, hoping It wouldn’t sneak Up on Me. Mom finally took the Gizmo off, and I was safe. Whew! Living unstuck.
But this year? Mom and I were out for an evening Walk, and came across a Little Figure dressed in White. I backed up a Bit to Get a better Look, but it didn’t Matter. Whatever It was looked formidable to Me. Then It growled. Then giggled. That’s all it took. I have a Big Bark for a Very Small Dog. Then let forth with a Volley of My own Growls and Barks. That ought to Show It! By then? The Figure took off its Sheet. And it was My Friend! Good thing I recognized Him before I did Major Damage. But all was well. Living unstuck.
How about You? Do You get scared at Times? Or are You always calm and Serene? I say: Being tranquil is Fine for sitting by the Lake. But when You feel Threatened? Make a Big Noise. Jump around a lot and Be Fierce. It will Slow down whatever is Coming at You. And I’m right behind You! Living unstuck. #unstuck-living#halloween
During the day, I don’t believe in ghosts. At night, I’m a little more open-minded.
